This panel discussed affirming environments for LGBTQI+ children and youth, highlighting challenges from a non-Western, decolonial perspective.Underscoring the role of dissident pride in protecting this marginalized group from pervasive exclusion. Vulnerabilities such as harassment, violence, and homelessness are prevalent among LGBTQI+ youth.
